John Kwan is passionate about impacting lives creatively for Jesus Christ. His creative leadership skills are changing the way church and organization is done worldwide. John first came out with the idea of the LiFEgame with his youth leaders as an activity for one of their youth camp in 1984. The purpose of the game was for the youth to understand the difficulties of life faced by parents. John and the youth leaders realized that the youths were greatly impacted by the game and began to plan for the next camps. With every camp, John further expanded the game and improved every aspect of the game. In 2002, John and the team took the game out from the origin twon to Sungai Petani where they organized the LiFEgame for the National Baptist Youth Camp for around 220 participants.
With that, John saw the potential of the games impacting people's life and went on to conduct camps throughout Malaysia. At the same time, he continued to design other creative teaching tools, namely "impact games" to teach God's biblical and practical principles. Under his leadership, LiFEimpact began in 2006 and has impacted more than 12,000 lives.
